Age Limit & Candidate Domicile Rules
Age Criteria: Age rules and relaxation policies are applicable in accordance with Uttarakhand government guidelines (No upper age limit for UTET exam).
Other State Eligibility: Candidates from states other than Uttarakhand are also fully eligible to fill the UTET 2026 form.

UTET Level Eligibility Codes & Qualification Requirements
Primary Level (Paper-I: Classes I-V)Code 01: 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 50% marks, and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC).
Code 02: 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 45% marks, and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC) in accordance with NCTE Regulations 2002.
Code 03: 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 50% marks, and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
Code 04: 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 50% marks, and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Code 05: Bachelor’s Degree and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC).
Code 06: Shiksha Mitra holding a D.El.Ed diploma from IGNOU.
Currently in-service primary teachers of classes 1 to 5 are also eligible to apply.
Junior Level (Paper-II: Classes VI-VIII)Code 01: Bachelor’s Degree and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC).
Code 02: Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks, and passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri (Regular).
Code 03: Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 45% marks, and passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri (Regular) in accordance with NCTE regulations.
Code 04: 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 50% marks, and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
Code 05: 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 50% marks, and passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.A / B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed.
Code 06: Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks, and passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed (Special Education).
Code 07: Minimum 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation, and passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Provided minimum percentage is not applicable to candidates who took admission to B.Ed/B.El.Ed courses prior to 29 July 2011).

How to Submit UTET Class I to V & VI to VIII Form 2026
● The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has released the notification for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications between 14 July 2026 and 03 August 2026.
● Applicants are advised to carefully read the official UTET notification and instruction manual before starting the online application process.
● Verify and check all academic records, eligibility codes (Code 01 to 07), identification credentials, and personal address details.
● Keep digital scans of required files (recent photograph, signature, etc.) prepared as per instructions.
● Preview and double-check all fields of the completed application form before final submission.
● Complete the application fee payment online or offline. Forms without the required fee payment will not be considered complete.
● Print out and save the registration confirmation page of the final submitted application form.
